Cyclone, Mocha is expected to continue tracking northwards. As per predictions it might make landfall over Myanmar, but a large degree of uncertainty still remains due to the wide variation in its path and strength among models. As the regional conditions get stormier, the seas will also get gradually rougher as we head deeper into next week. Therefore, Fasal Salah advises the fisherfolk to not venture into BoB for coming 3-4 days. Tourism, shipping and offshore activities in Andaman and Nicobar Islands will also be suspended for upcoming 3-4 days.
