Cyclone Mocha is predicted to make landfall between Bangladesh and Myanmar around the forenoon of May 14, with the intensity of a Severe Cyclonic Storm (SCS). Fasal Salah advises farmers to hold sowing, spraying of pesticide and irrigation activities for coming five days. Andaman and Nicobar Islands may experience very heavy rainfall with gusty winds on May 10-11. Heavy rains may also lash over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on May 13 Due to Cyclone Mocha, Fasal Salah advises fisherfolk, small ships, boats and trawlers not to venture into the southeast and central Bay of Bengal and the south Andaman Sea.
