There is no chance of long boom in maize

Maize production has been at a record level in Bihar this time. There is an estimate of 68 lakh metric tonnes, considering the crop standing in the fields and the pressure of arrival in the mandis. The farmers there are continuously bringing goods to the mandi by trolleys, but due to all-round buying by the stockists and rackers at lower prices, the market has strengthened to Rs.1650/1680 per quintal. The trade which took place at Rs 1700 last week at Rack Point has now become Rs 1750. Due to the high price of maize, the farmers sowed heavily. Here also the maize of UP has increased by Rs 30 to Rs 2 thousand per quintal. That's why the goods will continue to be available at these prices. In the coming week, there is no possibility of a long boom in maize.
