Bajra is expected to remain sluggish

The sale of bajra has completely cooled down because the consuming industries are using both the food grains due to the low prices of maize and wheat. This is the reason that the price of bajra has reached Mauli Barwala and is stable at Rs 2225/2230 per quintal. Last week, bajra was increased by Rs 20 to Rs 2180/2190 in the mandis here. Although the stock of Bajra is not much in any mandi, its substitute is being found now. It is estimated that there will be sluggishness in Bajra in the coming week.
