Light or moderate fairly widespread to widespread rain with isolated heavy rainfall may occur over Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Jharkhand for next 4 days. Farmers are advised to make proper arrangement for drainage in all vegetables, pulse, maize field & nurseries of the crops and make bund for conserving rain water in the field in upland condition. Fairly widespread to widespread light or moderate rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy downpours may lash Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next five days. In areas where the rice crop has been damaged due to flood, farmers may raise rice nurseries by selecting local rice varieties.
