A cyclonic circulation is present over southeast Uttar Pradesh and a well-marked low-pressure area has been created over north Odisha and Chhattisgarh and in next 24 hours it will start moving towards Madhya Pradesh and hit South-western Gujarat. Currently there is heavy rains over Odisha and Chhattisgarh for 2 days and will gradually decrease. A western disturbance is been predicted to hit over the Himalayas which will brings moderate rains to Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzzafarabad, Ladakh and Uttarakhand in the upcoming days. For next 3- 4 days, moderate rains will occur over West and Central Uttar Pradesh on the districts like Moradabad, Shamli, Amroha, Budan, Lakhimpur kheri, Hardoi etc, whereas less rains will be there over eastern Uttar Pradesh. Rains may result in increased weeds in paddy fields, for which farmers are advised to pay special attention on weed control. Also, Fasal Salah advises farmers to start sowing of pearl millet crop in UP. Heavy rains are predicted over South Eastern Rajasthan like Barmer, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, Jodhpur, Churu, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Pali, Tonk, Jalore etc. for next 3 days. After 2-3 days, light to moderate rain will occur in Gujarat distrcts like Sabarkantha, Banaskantha, Mahesana Ahmedabad and LPA will hit Southern Gujarat creating heavy rains over Valsad, Dang, Tapi, Narmada, Amreli, Surat, Vadodara etc. and these rains will sustain for next 5- 6 days.
Since it is the time of harvesting and the farmers are advised to not harvest their crops for upcoming 7 days. Although these rains are will not benefit the ongoing Kharif crops but will bring good moisture content for the upcoming Rabi Crops. There will be light to moderate rain in Eastern Madhya Pradesh whereas heavy rains will occur over Western Madhya Pradesh districts like Neemuch, Guna, Ratlam, Thar, Khandwa, dewas, Betul, Hoshangabad for upcoming 4- 5 days. Due to rains, sudden wilt in Cotton could happen. Soybean farmers of MP are advised to harvest the early maturing varieties immediately after the 90% pods have turned yellow. Moderate to heavy rain will occur over Nagpur, Nandurbar, Amarawati, Dhule, Jalna, Jalgao, Washim, Pune and adjoining districts for next 5-6 days. Light to moderate rain will be ther on Kerala, Rayalseema, Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka.
