It will take one and a half months for the new maize Kharif season to arrive in MP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, but due to the abundant stock of summer maize in the mandis of UP and Bihar, the price at which the consuming industries are able to meet their moisture needs will be available. They are asking for goods, they are getting them. Maize from Bihar is being sold between Rs 2240/2245 per quintal, while maize from UP is being sold at Rs 2125/2150 in Haryana and Punjab. The market is expected to come down.
