A Cyclonic Circulation associated with a Low Pressure Area has been created over Jharkhand and is moving towards its northwest direction. • A trough is running from CC to southwest UP, which cause heavy rains in these regions. • Due to this system, light-moderate Widespread isolated heavy rains are forecast over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Odisha and Jharkhand during next 2-3 days. • Eastern MP, Chhattisgarh and eastern UP are also expected to receive Isolated heavy rainfall for next 2 days, West MP and Vidarbha for next 1 day. • Farmers are suggested to spray imabactin benzoate @ 10ml/pump, to control of fall army worm in maize. • Isolated heavy rains are likely over Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada for next 2 days. • As paddy is in flower initiation/grain filling stage, farmers are advised to maintain 5cm of water in paddy fields, and remove excess water as it causes damage to the plant. • Light-moderate fairly widespread isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Kerala and Tamil Nadu for next 1 day. • Scattered to Light-moderate rainfalls over some regions of AP and Telangana. • Heavy- very heavy rainfall is also expected over North-eastern states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur during next 2-3 days.
