Light-Moderate widespread rains over Arunachal, Nagaland and Manipur; Thunderstorms over Kerala and Tamilnadu

After making landfall in southern Bangladesh, Cyclone “Hamoon” has moved from Mizoram to Manipur and became a well-marked low-pressure system (WML). There is a cyclonic circulation linked to this change. As a result, eastern Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur are expected with light-moderate rain during next 1-2 days. In paddy fields, in case of Stem Borer Spray Azadirachtin 0.03% 400 ml (Or) Flubendiamide 20% WG 50g per acre in 200 litres of water; To control Fruit & Shoot borer in Chilli, Brinjal and Tomato go for spraying with Profenophos @ 400 ml/ac or cypermethrin @ 200 ml/ac. Removal of effected plant parts. For the next five days, maximum temperatures in the Desert and Semi-Arid regions will likely be normal or slightly warmer than average, while those in the Southern Peninsula are more likely to experience warmer maximums. For the next five days, overnight minimums at Northern India will be warmer than average. Clear weather is anticipated in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for next 6-7 days. Farmers are advised to proceed with the sowing of rabi crops like wheat, mustard, chickpea, methi and potato when the day temperature is below 30°c. No significant weather over rest of the regions for next 5 days.
