Isolated Rain to Impact Rajasthan, Maharashtra; Tamil Nadu, Kerala in for Heavy Rains

Farmers growing black gram can reduce seed-borne pathogens, seedling diseases and root rot infections by treating seeds with Carbendazim at the rate of 2.0 gm/kg seed (or) Trichoderma viride 4.0 gm/kg. Similar conditions are anticipated over South interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema regions for next 2-3 days. Scattered rains and thunderstorms may impact Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam for next 1-2 days. To control pink ball worm in cotton spray neem oil @ 2 ml/litre and neem oil @ 5 ml/1 litre of water. Farmers sowing black gram/green gram are advised to treat the seeds with Imidacloprid/Thiomithaxam @ 5ml per kg seed and after drying apply Mancozeb/Thiram/Captan/Carbendazim @ 2.5 g per kg seed to protect the crop from pests and diseases. Isolated to scattered rainfall is also predicted for Konkan-Goa and Madhya Maharashtra during the course of the next 2-3 days. Light-moderate showers are likely over various regions of Telangana during next 2-3 days. A Western Disturbance is lying as a trough and an induced Cyclonic Circulation lies over Northwest Rajasthan & neighbourhood resulting in snow at hilly regions and isolated to fairly widespread rain over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and its surrounding regions during next 1-2 days. In addition, isolated light rainfall is very likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and West Rajasthan on 9 November.
