Light to moderate rain is possible over Vidarbha, Marathwada, North Telangana, and parts of Chhattisgarh. Dense fog conditions may occur during morning hours over parts of north Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim. Ground Frost possible over isolated pockets of Uttarakhand. A cyclonic circulation is expected to develop over the Central region, ushering in isolated to scattered rain accompanied by localised thunderstorms in East Maharashtra and Telangana for next 2-3 days, and over Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh after 2-3 days. Light rainfall expected over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Kerala during next 3-4 days. Light to moderate isolated to scattered rainfall and snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and over Odisha from February 9-12. Minimum temperatures may drop by 2 to 3 degrees over many parts of East and Central India.
