A fresh Western disturbance is likely to affect the Himalayan region in coming 2 days, causing light to moderate widespread rain or snow over the Western Himalayan region. A cyclonic circulation lies over northwest Rajasthan. Due to this, light rainfall/is likely to occur over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from for next 2-3 days and will decrease thereafter. Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms & lightning likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and East Uttar Pradesh during next 1-2 days. In Punjab & Haryana, Farmers are advised to do irrigation in wheat crop and do application of fertilizers.
