The new crop of Bihar has started arriving. At the same time, the sale of maize has started decreasing in the markets of Madhya Pradesh, due to which the sale price of maize has started reaching Rs 2400/2425 in Haryana-Punjab. In the markets there too, Rs 40/50 were down in two days. The reality is that the arrival has started in Bihar, but it will take 8-10 more days for the pressure of new arrival to be created in Gulabbagh Darbhanga Purnia line. In view of this, maize from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan should be sold at the current price. In the last 10 days the prices have fallen by Rs 150 to Rs 2200/2210 per quintal. Market is expected to decrease further.
