According to Solvent Extractors Association of India, SEA, the export of castor oil has increased to 56,561 tonnes in February, whereas in February last year its export was only 47,340 tonnes. According to SEA, in terms of value, the export of castor oil in the first 11 months of the financial year 2023-24 has been worth Rs 6,976.66 crore, whereas during April to March of the last financial year 2022-23, the export in terms of value has been worth Rs 9,027.64 crore. happened. Castor seed prices weakened for the fifth consecutive working day in Gujarat mandis on Wednesday. Its prices in producer markets weakened by Rs 5 to Rs 1,130 to Rs 1,160 per 20 kg. According to traders, the total arrival of castor seed in the mandis of the state was 1,60,000 bags. In Rajkot, the price of castor oil commercial weakened by one rupee to Rs 1,182 per 10 kg and that of FSG fell by one rupee to Rs 1,192 per 10 kg.
