Light to moderate rainfall/snowfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds (30-40 kmph) and hailstorms will impact Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand after 1-2 days Scattered rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) very likely over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh for next 2-3 days. Heatwave conditions may grip pockets of Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Andhra’s Kurnool, Nellore, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Amravati districts are expected to witness temperatures ranging from 40-43°C this week.
