A Western Disturbance is currently located over the western parts of Pakistan. A cyclonic circulation is currently affecting the Himachal region, bringing light to moderate rainfall to various locations in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana. Another cyclonic circulation has developed over central Rajasthan. Heavy rain is expected in South Rajasthan, while West Rajasthan is likely to experience hot and humid weather over the next two days. A low-pressure area over East Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Chhattisgarh will bring light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, to West, Central, and South India over the next five days. A cyclonic circulation is present over Bihar and Bengal, bringing the possibility of light to moderate rain in West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Northeast India is expected to light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, over the next five days. Isolated heavy rainfall is highly likely in Assam and Meghalaya during this period, and in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur in next 1-2 days. An off-shore trough extending from South Gujarat to the North Kerala coast is influencing the weather in South India. This will lead to heavy rainfall at isolated or some places over Coastal and South Interior Karnataka. Additionally, strong surface winds with speeds of 30-40 kmph are anticipated over the south peninsular region during the next two days.
