A fresh Western Disturbance is located over northern Pakistan. This system is expected to influence the weather in the northwestern parts of India, potentially bringing rainfall to regions such as Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. A cyclonic circulation is active over western Uttar Pradesh. This system is likely to enhance rainfall activities in Uttar Pradesh and nearby regions, contributing to moderate to heavy rainfall. A low-pressure area is now over Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. This will cause more rain in these states and nearby areas like Odisha and West Bengal, leading to heavy rainfall over the next few days. Another cyclonic circulation is active over southern Rajasthan. This system is expected to bring rainfall to Rajasthan and its neighboring areas, contributing to scattered showers and isolated heavy rainfall. Northeast India is expected to light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, over the next five days. Isolated heavy rainfall is highly likely in Assam and Meghalaya during this period, and in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur in next 1-2 days. An off-shore trough at mean sea level extends along the South Gujarat to North Karnataka coasts. This system is expected to enhance rainfall activity along the west coast, leading to heavy showers in coastal regions of Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Karnataka over the next few days.
