Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal & adjoining Bangladesh, a Low Pressure Area has formed over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand. It is likely to move west-north-westwards and become more marked during next 24 hours. Heavy rainfall very likely over Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, and Bihar. The cyclonic circulation over northeast Rajasthan & neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level persists. Moderate to heavy rain is possible over east and North Rajasthan. The cyclonic circulation over Punjab & neighbourhood between 3.1 & 5.8 km above mean sea level persists. Moderate to heavy rain, some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi. Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is very likely over Maharashtra, East Madhya Pradesh, Goa, West Madhya Pradesh, and the Gujarat region during the next 1-2 days. Heavy rainfall is also expected at isolated places in Coastal and South Interior Karnataka. In East and Northeast India, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is very likely over the region during the next 5 days. Light rain is possible over, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka, and Telangana.
