Deep Depression to Bring Heavy Rainfall and Thunderstorms to Western Rajasthan.
A deep depression is about to enter Rajasthan from northwest Madhya Pradesh. It is expected to cross Rajasthan towards the west while weakening. The heavy rainfall on Monday is expected in western Rajasthan along with thunderstorms. A cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam at an altitude of 0.9 km above mean sea level persists, resulting in Heavy rains are expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim. Heavy rainfall are likely in isolated parts of Gujarat Region and Maharashtra. Heavy rainfall is possible in Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely in Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Coastal Karnataka. Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is very likely over Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, with isolated to scattered rainfall over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi during the week.
