The cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan & neighbourhood extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level persists. Heavy rainfall is also likely over Himachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand during the next 2-3 days. The cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh persists and seen upto 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height. The cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam and its neighbouring areas is likely to cause light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, over Northeast India during the week. An east-west trough runs from the central parts of Rajasthan to East Bihar across Uttar Pradesh at the lower tropospheric level. Due to this, heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, while moderate to heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places over Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana during the next 1-2 days.
