Very Heavy Rains to Batter Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka
The low-pressure area previously located over South Bangladesh and its surrounding regions has now shifted to the central parts of Bangladesh and its neighborhood. This system is expected to move west-northwestward, affecting West Bengal over the next 48 hours. As a result, heavy rainfall is very likely over West Bengal, Assam, and Meghalaya in the next 1-2 days. Additionally, moderate rainfall is expected in Sikkim, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura during the same period. A cyclonic circulation is observed over Jharkhand and nearby areas. This system is likely to bring heavy rainfall to Jharkhand and Odisha. Another cyclonic circulation remains over Southwest Pakistan and its vicinity, contributing to the broader weather patterns in the region. Heavy rainfall also very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Kerala during next 2-3 days. Moderate to heavy rainfall very likely over Jammu-Kashmir, West Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi. Moderate to heavy rainfall very likely over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and some part of Gujarat Region.
