Uttar Pradesh Haryana , and Uttarakhand Brace for Extremely Heavy Rains.
A depression over Northwest Madhya Pradesh and southwest is moving slowly northwards during next 24 hrs. The system is under continuous surveillance of Doppler Weather Radars at Delhi and Lucknow. This may bring heavy to very heavy rain, with extremely heavy falls across central and northern regions through Friday. Very heavy rainfall is forecast for West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Northwest Madhya Pradesh, while East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi are expected to experience heavy rainfall. Moderate to heavy rainfall may experience by Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chattishgarh and Odisha. Light to moderate rainfall over Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and kerala. Light rainfall may experience in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka. Tamil Nadu and Puducherry may experience thunderstrom and lightning. The cyclonic circulation over central parts of Myanmar now lies over westcentral Myanmar & neighbourhood extending upto mid tropospheric levels. It is likely to move west-northwest and likely to emerge over coastal Bangladesh and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours. Another cyclonic circulation will linger over Assam, producing heavy rain with occasional intense downpours across Northeast India for several days.
